IT Contracts

Much of our work consists of negotiating and drafting agreements that a technology company may enter into. Many of our biggest clients are involved with the IT sector and we therefore have much experience with a varied range of IT transactions. To take a few examples:

• Licence deals with single or multiple customers;
• Product based and sales driven commercial deals;
• Games software supply;
• Supply of equipment and services;
• E-commerce;
• Data protection; and
• Website T&Cs.

Much of our work has an international element. The transactions on which we advise are often between parties based in different countries, or concern activities to be performed in more than one country (e.g. the grant of intellectual property rights in more than one country). Where issues arise outside the UK, we can assist clients by recommending and/or instructing appropriate specialists on the client’s behalf.
